Privacy Policy

 Equipment of Ownership

         Please acknowledge that all products agreed upon the Rental Contract signed by you directly are under the ownership of Sweet Tea Smarts LLC, ownership of any appliance does not transfer from company to customer. Sweet Tea Smarts LLC assumes all rentals will be returned in original conditions with normal wear and tears, any questionable damage will be addressed accordingly.

 

Proper Use & Care

       Customer agrees to use all rented equipment as listed in the original owner’s manual, agrees to immediately bring any issue or concern to attention, and to not tamper, replace, remove parts, or overload any piece of rented equipment agreed upon in Rental Contract.

 

Damage Responsibility

       Customers are responsible for any damage to units caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, tampering with units, or physical and intended damage (dent, burn, scratch, stain, water damage, mold). Including any damage caused by children, pets, explosives or any object left in clothing, or natural disaster such as fire, wind, earthquake, etc. Sweet Tea Smarts LLC are liable for any normal ware and tear, appliance defect, appliance over 10 years of use, or any preexisting issue that re-curs.

 

Electrical and Water Hookups for Installation

       It is the responsibility of the customer to have the space ready for hookups (Electrical, water, drain, and possibly gas), as well with sufficient physical space and clearance for the unit’s airflow, and a sturdy level floor. All work must comply with the local building codes. If space does not meet the listed requirements, Sweet Tea Smarts LLC has the right to refuse service if standards are not met! Sweet Tea Smarts LLC is not liable for any pre-existing plumbing issues, faulty household connections, customer modified hookups, faulty wiring, faulty surges, or unsafe outlets)

 

Private Information

       For filing purposes only, Sweet Tea Smarts LLC does require Full name of business or customer, contact information, Address where appliances may be used, as well as a full description of the appliances being rented. Sweet Tea Smarts LLC has no right to share any personal information unless individual has proof of identification.

 

Liability Limitations

       Sweet Tea Smarts LLC are not liable for lost laundry, damage to clothing, lost income, or secondary damages. (Like damaged flooring, walls, or flooding UNLESS DIRECTLY CAUSED BY EQUIPMENT DEFECTS OR TECHNICIAN NEGLIGENCE)

 

Replacement & Repair Terms

       Sweet Tea Smarts LLC will cover routine maintenance, repairs due to normal use, and replacement for manufacturer defects. Customer caused damaged may result in repair fees or replacement charges explained in the Rental Contract.

 

Late Payments & Equipment Removal

       Sweet Tea Smarts LLC has the right to schedule equipment retrieval for non-payment. Customer must allow pick up when agreed rental contract is out of date or service fees may apply. Damage during any removal/relocation done by customers will not be covered by Sweet Tea Smarts LLC.

 

Termination of Rental Agreement

       You have the right to terminate this contract with proper notice within 14 days of the written signature and date below. All equipment must be returned in good condition or damage fees may apply. Customer remains responsible for any outstanding fees. Any early cancellations that violate the agreed length of rental will be charged double the amount of next payment and early pickup fee of $199.
